2014 - A year full of events presented by Autrey Mill

Autrey Mill's Events are open to the public with proceeds used to support the operations of Autrey Mill Nature Preserve and Heritage Center.

Children's Holiday Activities

Two dates with fun holiday programs for children!
(Kids have 2 hours of fun and parents have time to run holiday errands)

Children will enjoy making treats, creating seasonal crafts, and more!

Wild Weekend
May 3

A day of all things wild! Activities include live animal encounters, educational displays, fun animal-themed games and crafts, interactive learning stations, and more.


Smithsonian Museum Day Live
Saturday, Sept. 27

We're opening the gates and doors as a participant in the Smithsonian Magazine Museum Day Live. Watch for instructions on how to obtain free tickets to tours, hikes, exhibits and more at Autrey Mill.


Spooky Mill
Friday and Saturday, Oct 24 - 25

Two evenings of Family Halloween Fun with Trick-or-Treating in the Heritage Village, haunted house, games, and more. Free entry. Free trick-or-treating.. Purchase tickets for activities and food.

Jr. Spooky Mill
Friday, October 24
Halloween activities for preschoolers.

The Johns Creek CVB has a hotel package with free Spooky Mill activity tickets for guests staying at the Johns Creek Hilton Garden Inn and Hyatt Place hotels during the Spooky Mill and Johns Creek Arts Festival weekend.

Scout Day
Saturday, November 15
10am - 2pm

SCOUT DAY is a wonderful opportunity for Scouts to earn badges, patches, belt loops, etc. Participants use a 'passport' to guide them through activities at the various stations set up around Autrey Mill. Activities are targeted for Cub Scouts, Brownies, and Jr. Girl Scouts
