a scientist's photographic perspective
Dr. Jason Hyung-Gu Kang
Autrey Mill Nature Center is proud to present the works of Dr. Jason Hyung-gu Kang, “Georgia on Paper”- A Scientist’s Photographic Perspective. Some 40-plus works will be on display from January 16th till February 28th in the historic Summerour House. Dr. Kang draws upon his PhD in materials science from the University of Oxford to compose stunning works, which uniquely blend his technical and creative photography.

Fine Art Photography Workshops
Not only does Dr. Jason Hyung-gu Kang have a passion for photography, he loves to teach it as well. He is offering workshops at Autrey Mill in the technical and artistic aspects of both photography and post-processing.

Exotic Ectotherms
Enchanting Extraordinary Endearing
See reptiles and amphibians and other cold-blooded critters from the far reaches of the globe in our special exhibit. Compare and contrast our native reptiles, normally on display, with these beautiful and bizarre creatures.
This exhibit is open for viewing on Saturdays from 11am-1pm and private viewings are available by appointment.
Please note: There will be a charge for this special exhibit.
