2014 - A year full of events presented by Autrey Mill

Autrey Mill's Events are open to the public with proceeds used to support the operations of Autrey Mill Nature Preserve and Heritage Center.

Celebrating All Things Wild

Saturday, May 3
10am-4pm

Featuring . . .

  • 10am-1pm: Birds of Prey with raptors from Amicalola Falls State Park
  • 1-4pm: Farmer Sue and her ArtBarn Crew from Morning Glory Farms with adorable barnyard animals

Other activities can be enjoyed all-day - including live animal encounters, educational displays, fun animal-themed games and crafts, interactive learning stations, and more.

Rain or Shine
Entrance fee is $5 per person
Lunch, drinks, snacks, and s'mores available for purchase

Proceeds from Wild Weekend help fund the care and feeding of our exhibited animals.
Look for special fundraising activities at Wild Weekend that will help this cause.

Wild Weekend

A day of all things wild! Activities include live animal encounters, educational displays, fun animal-themed games and crafts, interactive learning stations, and more.

Smithsonian Museum Day Live

We're opening the gates and doors as a participant in the Smithsonian Magazine Museum Day Live. Watch for instructions on how to obtain free tickets to tours, hikes, exhibits and more at Autrey Mill.

Spooky Mill

Two evenings of Family Halloween Fun with Trick-or-Treating in the Heritage Village, haunted house, games, and more.

Jr. Spooky Mill - Halloween activities for preschoolers on October 25th, 11am-1pm.

Scout Day

SCOUT DAY is a wonderful opportunity for Scouts to earn badges, patches, belt loops, etc. Participants use a 'passport' to guide them through activities at the various stations set up around Autrey Mill. Activities are targeted for Cub Scouts, Brownies, and Jr. Girl Scouts
