2012 - A year full of events presented by Autrey Mill

Autrey Mill's Events are open to the public. Watch for additional event details as the event approaches.

Proceeds from events support the operations of Autrey Mill Nature Preserve and Heritage Center.

Special Heritage Exhibit
"Treasures of Autrey Mill"

An exhibit of some of Autrey Mill's treasures and artifacts from the Green General Store, Farm Museum, and Tenant House collections.

Tours of the exhibit and lectures can also be scheduled for groups.

Rental Expo

Many of the buildings and structures of the Heritage Village are available for birthdays, weddings, and corporate events. Our Rental Expo is a chance to show off our facilities and for local hospitality vendors to promote their services to the community.

Wild Weekend

A weekend full of all things wild! This year Wild Weekend is timed to coinside with Earth Day. The weekend will feature live animal encounters, educational demonstrations, guided nature hikes, games, and more.

Spring into Summer

As we get ready for nature to turn up the heat, we will offer a fun day of both Nature and Heritage activities. Guided hikes, Tours of historic buildings, Live Animal Encounters, Water Slides, and more will make for a great way to kick start your summer!

Heritage Day / Hoe Down at the Mill

We're celebrating the history and culture of the area during the past 400 years.

Friday night will feature a hoe down with music, attractions, and guided twilight tours of the heritage buildings.

The Saturday event will feature educational stations, history talks, building tours and Native American crafts, displays, and games.

Spooky Mill

Two evenings of Trick-or-Treating in the Heritage Village, games, spooky stories, fortune telling, and a haunted house.

Scout Day

SCOUT DAY is a wonderful opportunity for Scouts to earn badges, patches, belt loops, etc. Participants use a 'passport' to guide them through activities at the various stations set up around Autrey Mill. Activities are targeted for Cub Scouts, Brownies, and Jr. Girl Scouts
