HOME SCHOOL CLASSES

Home School Classes (New format and curriculum for 2010)

Located in Johns Creek, GA on 46 acres of a nature preserve with historic buildings, Autrey Mill offers a unique setting for home school programs that combine the natural sciences and cultural history.

Combo Nature and Heritage Program

Once per month, Autrey Mill is the place to be for Home School students! The day will begin at 11:00am with a live animal encounter followed by a guided nature hike with director Ben team through our 46-acre preserve. After a short break for lunch, students will join Miss Alison to explore the historic cultures of the region - from the Native American Indians to the farming pioneers of the rural south.

Each month's home school program can stand on its own, but with new topics and activities for each date, consider attending multiple times.

Parents are not required to attend (but are welcome to stay and enjoy the park!).
