Reptile Camp - We are starting this summer with a bang!
We will be featuring reptiles in our first week of camp. 'Reptiles' is
always a favorite subject of our campers, and it is easy to understand why.
Each day of reptile camp will feature a live reptile encounter, nature
hikes, and reptile related games and activities.
Creepy Crawlies Camp - Our campers will have a fantastic
time with insects, arachnids, and more during Creepy Crawly camp! We
will meet a variety of invertebrates up close and personal, as well as spend
a lot of time in our forest searching for these peculiar creatures. In
addition to live animal encounters with these animals, campers will create
invertebrate art and play 'creepy' games!
Bird Camp - This is our first offering of Bird Camp here at
Autrey Mill and we are very excited about it! During Bird Camp our
campers will learn to recognize some of the common birds of our area by
sight and sound! We will also dissect owl pellets, create bird
feeders, and learn about some of the dangers facing our feathered friends.
Wonderful Water Camp - Water Week is always a popular theme
with our campers, and this year we decided to make it our grand finale!
Campers will enjoy exploring our creek and wetland, conduct interesting
experiments with water, and learn about how important water is to a variety
of animals from the world through live animal encounters.
