2015 Fall Schedule

Sat, Sept 5

Native Fish, led by the North American Native Fish Assoc.

We'll start in the Visitor Center for an intro to the fish living in local creeks, then hike to the creek to learn how to seine (use a vertical net to capture fish) and explore what lives in Sals creek. This program will have a hands-on, feet-in-the-creek component, so come with shoes that can get wet.

Sat, Oct 10

Bird Hike, led by the Audubon Society.
Rain or Shine. Rain is part of nature, too, so we'll explore the trails unless thunderstorms are in the area.

Tues, Nov 17
Astronomy Hike, led by the Atlanta Astronomy Club
