GUIDED NATURE HIKES

One of the best ways to enjoy Autrey Mill
is to take a Guided Hike!


2016 Winter-Spring Kid Hikes

These are guided hikes with activities designed to get kids exploring the outdoors and interacting with nature.
Ages 6-11
3:30-5:00pm
New Hike Time
$7 for members, $10 for non-members.

Hikes will take place rain or shine (dress appropriately), but indoor activities may be substituted in cases of severe weather.
REGISTRATION REQUIRED, online registration below.
Please register at least 24 hours in advance of a hike.


Schedule a Guided Hike
for your Group

Enjoy a guided nature hike through our 46-acre preserve led by one of our staff. Hikes last approximately one hour, can be customized for a topic of interest, and can be scheduled at a variety of times.

These guided hikes are a chance to learn from experts on a variety of topics while exploring our 46 acres.
Beginners to experts welcome!

$5 for members, $7 for non-members

A Hike led by North Fulton Master Gardeners.
Join us for a walk through the Spring woods with a Master Gardener to learn the identity and information about plants and trees in the preserve.

Sat, May 28

A Creek Hike to discover the fish living in Sal's Creek, led by the North American Native Fish Assoc.

We'll start at the Visitor Center for an intro to the fish living in local creeks, then hike to the creek to learn how to seine (use a vertical net to capture fish) and explore what lives in Sals creek. This program will have a hands-on, feet-in-the-creek component, so come with shoes that can get wet.
